Fort Dynamic follows the philosophy of Quality at a reasonable price by investing in quality businesses much below their intrinsic value while maintaining a diversified and very actively managed portfolio. The strategy adopts a top down and bottom up broad based investment approach that captures both fundamental and tactical opportunities across the market. The portfolio construction focuses on companies with strong balance sheets, clean operating cash flows, capital efficient business models and sustainable competitive moats such as technology leadership or strong brands. Preference is given to companies that are net debt free or have Net Debt to EBITDA below 3.5x and that demonstrate healthy return ratios and scalable business models capable of long term double digit growth. The approach emphasises acquiring quality stocks during periods of temporary earnings compression, market correction or stock or sector specific events when valuations trade at a discount to intrinsic value. The portfolio is diversified with a maximum exposure of 15% to a single stock and no single sector exceeding 45% of the portfolio. Market cap allocation typically spans large cap, mid cap and small cap stocks with a majority allocation to large caps while maintaining selective mid and small cap exposure.
