Vishal Tulsyan founded MO Alternates in 2006 with Motilal Oswal Group as its sponsor. Under his leadership, MO Alternates has become one of the most reputed Alternates Platform in India with over USD 2 Billion assets under management. Over the years, many companies backed by MO Alternates have become multi-billion-dollar enterprises. Before MO Alternates, Vishal has spent over two decades in financial services sector across Private Equity, Investment Banking and structured finance in organizations such as Rabobank. He is a Chartered Accountant and a graduate from St. Xaviers College, Kolkata. On the philanthropic front, Vishal is part of many initiatives. He is the Co-founder of Abhiyan Bharat Foundation, an education trust that helps children get an education they deserve and not what they can afford. He is one of the core founders of Accelerate India Philanthropy, a platform by and for philanthropists with a mission to inspire, influence, and inform strategic giving. Additionally, he is involved with Global Parli, an initiative that works with farmers to increase their overall farm income through cropping patterns, training, and cluster plantation.
