Sowilo Multi Cap Fund is an equity investment strategy focused on long term capital appreciation by investing in scalable businesses with strong competitive positioning and superior return potential across market capitalizations. The investment philosophy emphasizes companies that generate higher returns, possess technological edge, demonstrate market leadership and maintain strong and ethical management teams with sound governance standards. Equity investing is viewed as a way to own high quality businesses for long term wealth creation. The strategy follows a bottom up research driven process supported by in house proprietary research to define the investible universe and identify companies that meet rigorous criteria related to scale, profitability, leadership and governance. Portfolio construction invests in a balanced mix of large cap, mid cap and small cap companies to capture opportunities across different stages of business growth while maintaining diversification. The investment horizon is long term with a minimum expected horizon of about three years to allow compounding and wealth creation. The portfolio strategy follows a structured allocation framework based on Structural, Sectoral and Alpha opportunities with approximate allocation of about 50 percent structural themes, 30 percent sectoral opportunities, 15 percent alpha ideas and the remaining allocation for tactical opportunities as required.
