The strategy follows a bottom up research driven process supported by in house proprietary research to define the investible universe and identify companies that meet rigorous criteria related to scale, profitability, leadership and governance. Portfolio construction invests in a balanced mix of large cap, mid cap and small cap companies to capture opportunities across different stages of business growth while maintaining diversification. The investment horizon is long term with a minimum expected horizon of about three years to allow compounding and wealth creation. The portfolio strategy follows a structured allocation framework based on Structural, Sectoral and Alpha opportunities with approximate allocation of about 50 percent structural themes, 30 percent sectoral opportunities, 15 percent alpha ideas and the remaining allocation for tactical opportunities as required.
